My Mom and Dad's First Week in Germany

Gunnar and I dropped Kyle off for the field on May 10 and my parents arrived May 12, so we wern't alone very long at all and we both survived! It has been nice having my parents around and they are here until the morning of the 25th the day Kyle gets back from the field. My dad has been the dog wrangler, I don't know if he knew what he was getting into.
We have done a lot of relaxing and snuggling with Gunnar, just taking it pretty easy. Their former exchange student came down over the weekend and on Saturday we went to Rothenburg for a little sight-seeing. We also have gone to doctor's appointments for Gunnar and are working on getting the paperwork completed to get him into the military's system and make him a US citizen....talk about a lot of paperwork!!! We are hoping the paperwork all gets done quickly and smoothly so that we can possibly go back to the states this summer. Kyle hasn't been back since we have been here, so over 2 years, and I have not been home since Christmas 2007.
Here is a slide show of some things we have been up to:

Gunnar loves his tummy-tub. He was really screaming as we undressed him but one he sat down he was a happy camper. It is suppose to feel like the womb for them, and be calming...apparently it works. They are very popular over here. Kyle says we should have just bought a bucket and it would have been the same thing.

I'm glad you guys are having fun over there. He is such a cutie pie!! You are one brave girl to take your little guy to school already. I didn't take Max until he was like 3 months I think. I probably had more nose pickers than you.hehehe.
