Dad and Mom really tired to meet your request of a picture of me (propped up, full body, and close-up), but I am a very difficult to work with. I like to move my hands in front of the camera when they snap a shot of me and/or scrunch up my face. I think I look pretty handsome in this photo, Dad and Mom say they will try again later to get a good picture, but this will have to do for today! Love you guys!

Here is Daddy and Gunnar after the traumatic photo shoot. They are two good looking dudes if you ask me.
This is taken the day we came home from the hospital. (I think I look awful, but oh well) Sadly, my best friend here, Lacey moved back to the states on Tuesday. It was nice that she was able to meet Gunnar before she left and I am glad she took the time to come say goodbye. That is the hardest part of the army life, saying goodbye...we had dinner together just about every night while our husbands were deployed! Scarlett is 9 months old and is such a cutie, we are really going to miss you Nick, Lacey, and Scarlett!
Here is a picture of Summer, I mean Gunnar in his hospital crib. The hospital staff had Summer written on everything. We didn't notice until the patient liaison from the Army Health Clinic came by to do some paper work and she ask us if our little boy's name was "Summer." The nurses would take Gunnar at night for a few hours so I could sleep and change his clothes and comb his hair (they never did a diaper change, I always took care of that). He would always come back in girly outfits. If you notice right after he was born he was put in a butterfly jumper, the next day he came to me with a Hello Kitty outfit on. He peed all over the Hello Kitty outfit, I think he was upset that they were putting him in girly clothes. After that I got every one straightened out and he started coming back to me in a little more manly clothes. I am just hoping when I go pick up his German birth certificate that he is Gunnar, not Summer!
Just a cute picture of our sleeping babe while we were still at the hospital. I have been trying to keep him awake a little more today hoping that he will want to sleep between his 12am and 3am feedings. He is wide awake now looking around, he did a little projectile spitting up on me about 5 minutes ago and I cleaned him up and changed him, just to hear him poop a second ago! Gotta love him! I didn't get a nap in today and we have a lot we have to get done tomorrow before Kyle heads out to the field, so I am praying that he is all ready for bed tonight!
