Auf Wiedersehen

It was a sad morning here as we said goodbye to my mom and dad. They left around 0630 for Frankfurt to head back home. It has been so nice having them around and they were a huge help! I am thankful they were able to come and spend some time with us. Hopefully we get to head back to the states soon so we can see them more often. We will just miss them terribly until we are all closer and use skype a lot so they can see Gunnar grow.
Kyle came home from the field early, and was back Saturday evening, so they were able to see him for a day, which was nice. He was amazed at how much Gunnar had grown and changed since he saw him last.

On Saturday I took my parents to the Mespelbrunn Castle which is a medieval moated castle. No pictures can be taken inside, but we took a tour and it was all pretty interesting.

Sunday we all loaded up and went to Nuernberg. There we did part of the Historical Mile Walk. We were all hot and tired about half way through and saw the things that really interested us, so decided to call it a day.

I wish I had be able to take them more places, but so many things I wanted to show them were far away. With a new baby and no husband I wasn't really excited about traveling to far from home.
