After signing the paperwork, we got to work getting my personal items out of the classroom.
Even Kyle worked hard. He carried the big tupperware out of the room to the car. I have tons of children books that were given to me by teachers retiring, and they didn't make for a light load.
Gunnar fell asleep from all the hard work, and Kyle thought the box was the safest place for him. Poor baby. He did however sleep in there for a good 30 minutes.
We think this might be a more effective way to get Gunnar to the US than on the plane! (Please notice that he is no longer just in the box which isn't to safe, he is in the box on a rocking chair...SUPER SAFE!!!)
I will always be Mrs. Pettit, but my new official job title is Mommy...all for this cute little guy!

You will have so much fun being at home. It is hard to not go to work sometimes. I do miss teaching and seeing all my students progress, but I LOVE watching Max progress and do so many silly things. You can always go back to teaching but you can't get those years back with Gunner.
Beth I am showing Grandma how to leave a comment! Love the pictures! Mom
Welcome to the exciting world of being a stay-at-home-mommy. I can't get enough of Gunnar, he is ADORABLE! I am excited to meet him...someday. Maybe at our 10-year reunion.
